Marsy’s Law, which is the Ohio Crime Victims’ Bill of Rights, was passed by voters with strong support in November 2017. This legislation grants victims various rights, such as the ability to attend and express their views at all court hearings, receive notifications about the offender's release, and provide input on plea agreements. Victims are also entitled to refuse discovery, seek a swift resolution of their case, and obtain restitution.
