Law Enforcement Command Staff

The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office operates a full-service Law Enforcement Division, which is comprised of the Field Operations Section and the Investigative Services Section.

Field Operations include Lucas County sheriff deputies who patrol approximately 249.46 miles of county roads, 224.44 miles of township roads and 66.06 miles of state roads. These deputies make up the primary enforcement agency for eight townships in Lucas County. Field Operations also includes a salvage officer, whose primary responsibility is to legally dispose of unclaimed and abandoned motor vehicles towed by a police agency within Lucas County.

Investigative Services consists of the detective division, the evidence/property room, a domestic violence officer, Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) officers and task force officers.
