Lucas County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center

The Dispatch Center serves as the first line of communication for members of the public and

  • The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office
  • Public-sector entities responsible for providing dispatch services
  • Public-sector entities receiving incoming emergency calls

The Dispatch Center operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is responsible for answering emergency and non-emergency calls for the citizens of Lucas County. The Dispatch Center is responsible for dispatching deputy sheriffs to the unincorporated areas of Lucas County as well as dispatching police officers for 11 municipalities and townships. The Dispatch Center also dispatches for three fire agencies.
